The 2012 Tour de France is here! The Tour swings around clockwise this year, which means we’re going to the Pyrenees! We have designed a tour for people who love to ride, but also for anyone who loves to see the world’s best cyclists go head to head in some of the most beautiful mountains of Europe. We start and end in Toulouse, which makes for easy arrival and departure. Then we head into the mountains and attacking four historic passes, the Cols d’Aubisque, Tourmalet, Aspin and Peyressourde. We also have a few flat stages to stretch our legs. Come and share the excitement of the greatest sporting event in the world, and also soak up the beauty and history of delightful France. Tour Cost Includes: All accommodations at comfortable 2 to 3-star hotels, 7 breakfasts and 7 dinners; 2 bilingual Custojmwalks guides to accompany you during the duration of the tour, support vehicle; all luggage transfers; pick-up from Toulouse and final transfer to Toulouse.
Bike rental is not included in the price as most people bring their own bikes. However, we can provide you with high quality road bikes fitted to your size. There is a €200 supplement rental fee if you require a bike rental.
The trip is rated challenging, with many long days and steep climbs. However, we offer full van support so people can do as many (or as little!) miles as they wish.
At the time of writing (November 21) 8 people are confirmed, and we are waiting for 4-6 others to confirm, bringing the tour size to 10-12 participants.

General Information
| Qualifications: This trip is rated Challenging. The rides are in the Pyrenees mountains so include lots of uphill climbs and downhill zooms. There will be full van support, so you can choose how much to ride each day. There will also be some walking involved as we make our way to see the riders on the climbs. The daily distances are between 80 – 120kms kms (50 – 80 miles).
